Prochaska Farms Cooperative Sharing (CS) Program creates an opportunity
for our customers to receive the widest range of produce available. The CS program is intended for individuals and families
of all sizes, accommodating their unique tastes, by supplying a weekly basket of seasonal vegetables. Prochaska Farms is dedicated to providing the freshest and finest produce in the community
and growing it in a way that promotes sustainability in the local economy.
The following is a list of our products and an estimated harvest time.
May: Extensive varieties of heirloom lettuce, mustard, kale,
oriental greens, green onions, swiss chard, asparagus, radishes, kohlrabi, sprouts, spinach and many varieties of fresh herbs.
June: A continuation of May crops plus assorted bean varieties, peas,
edible flowers, cucumbers, many varieties of summer squash, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, strawberries, napa cabbage, celery
root, carrots, and beets.
July: A continuation of May and June crops plus our first tomatoes and sweet corn of the season, bell peppers,
watermelon, musk melon and honey dew melons, eggplant, mini potatoes, onions and celery.
August: A continuation of May June and July crops plus extensive varieties
of Heirloom tomatoes over 30 varieties, tomatillo (Mexican tomato), nice selection of very hot and sweet non bell types of
peppers, leeks, many more varieties of melons, but usually no lettuce this month as it is just too hot.
September: A continuation of the previous months plus winter
squash including butternut, buttercup, hubbard, acorn, spaghetti, pumpkins and more of the spring items again as the
weather starts to cool down.
